The “A Great Sufi: Kenan Rifâî International Symposium”, organized by the Kenan Culture Foundation, Üsküdar University Institute of Sufi Studies, KAF Intercultural Exchange Forum, Kerim Foundation for Education, Culture and Health, and the Kenan Center for Turkish Culture Studies, was held in Plovdiv on 5 June 2026. The program featured a documentary screening on the life of Kenan Rifâî and a poetry recital by Asuman Kulaksız, MD. Following the opening and protocol speeches, the opening conferences were held.
The symposium was supported by the Kyoto University Kenan Rifâî Center for Sufi Studies, the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Culture House, the TÜRKKAD Istanbul Branch, the Cenan Foundation for Education, Culture and Health, and the Nef Foundation Kenan Rifâî International Center for Sufi Studies.
